TUCO Members Benchmarking Report
29 May 2018 Emma Keenan, Procurement Specialist
The University Caterers Organisation (TUCO) have just published their third members benchmarking report. The survey asked for data from the academic year 1 August 2016 to 31 July 2017 relating to catering for students, staff and other visitors to campus, catering outlets and catered halls of residence (but not catering for conferences or events)
The informative and useful report will be useful for a range of persons throughout a university and provides a variety of information, most importantly
It provides an independent, external benchmark of operational performance
It provides consistent, credible, accurate industry standard definitions and metrics around commercial operations
It provides an assessment of an institution’s performance and progress relative to the industry
If you would like more information on the report or how TUCO can help you in your institution please contact Mike Haslin (CEO)
