The EAUC is the environmental and sustainability member association supporting Universities and Colleges across the UK. Over the last five to ten years, there has been an increasing awareness within the Further and Higher Education sector of the need to address environmental issues both operationally, as businesses, and within the curriculum. As a result, an increasing number of staff have been given responsibility to progress the environmental agenda, either as dedicated environmental advisors or as part of an existing post.
The majority of Universities are Members and they enjoy a range of benefits, however one of the most important things the EAUC do is to provide a comprehensive training and events programme. The events cover what it is, how to communicate information to senior teams and also what you can do to support the Accord once signed.
