Procurement teams - Investing in your future

03 April 2019      Emma Keenan, Procurement Specialist

Do you regularly undertake continuous professional development (CPD)? Are you aware of the benefits it brings?  Not only does undertaking learning and development benefit you in your daily role but it also gives you opportunities for the future, exposing you to new topics, ideas and ways of doing things which might help you consider “what next” in your career.

A new HEPA learning and development group is in the making, this will bring together expertise and knowledge from HEPA/BUFDG and UKUPC consortia partners to provide a new range of events and resources which meet your needs in a variety of ways and locations.  Watch out for more information on that and a survey asking for your views.

There are still some places on our currently listed training courses:

Awarding Framework Call offs – Birmingham 15.4.19

EU Update – Reading 8.5.19

Specification writing – Reading 8.5.19

Contract Management – Reading 22.5.19

Commercial Aspects for Procurement – Reading 19.6.19

Intro to EU Procurement – 10.7.19

There are also a variety of regional events coming up, the North West Universities Purchasing Consortium annual conference in April, the Joint LUPC and SUPC conference in May and the Conference on University Purchasing (COUP) between 3rd and 5th September.

Get in touch if there is something you need but don’t see.
