Fraud Risk Assessments in the ECCTA era

10 February 2026      Ashley Shelbrooke, Procurement Specialist

Following feedback from members on the topic, we are delighted to be hosting a Time to Talk with Pinsent Masons covering Fraud Risk Assessments in the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA) era.

The Time to Talk is free to attend, and open to all members; the session will cover:

  • How ECCTA shifts fraud accountability and what this means for HE finance teams
  • The essential components of a defensible fraud risk assessment
  • How to create a clear audit trail that stands up to regulator or law enforcement scrutiny
  • Areas of heightened risk for HE institutions
  • Turning assessments into action: using findings to strengthen controls, governance, and culture

The event will take place on 26 February at mid-day via MS Teams – you can book your place here!
