UKUPC and HEPA are hosting a briefing webinar for Finance Leaders covering the Procurement Act 2023 (PA2023); the session will take place at mid-day on 12 February 2025 and you can register here.
PA2023 comes into place on 24 February 2025. We have produced a PA2023 Briefing Note for Finance Leads as a high level summary of the key points of the Act.
This session is aimed at Senior Officers and Finance Leads. Heads of Procurement are very welcome too and we recommend that anyone in a Procurement role forward this communication to their Finance lead. Highly relevant to contracting authorities, it could also be of interest to non-contracting authorities, as adherence to the Public Procurement regulations may be required when undertaking procurements under grants/research funding.
