Incoterms

09 February 2021      Ashley Shelbrooke, HEPA and Project Specialist

Incoterms specify who is responsible for paying for and managing the shipment, insurance, documentation, customs clearance, and other logistical activities when moving goods across borders.

There are 11 Incoterms in total and you can find out more about each on the Trade.gov website.

Following several member requests, we will be holding a time to talk covering all things Incoterms.

Time to Talk: Incoterms

We are pleased to be joined once again by David Miller of The Customs People on 8 March at 10AM for a time to talk where David will outline the various Incoterms and the impact that they can have on the responsibilities of the supplier and importer of goods into the UK.  The session is free of charge for BUFDG and HEPA members and bookings can be made here.

Time to Talk: do you need to pay duty on the import of goods from the EU?

Finally, if you missed our previous EU Origin time to talk with David, or if you simply wish to re-watch the session or share it with colleagues, then a recording is available here.
