Scottish Universities Finance Conference 2025

This year the event will take place on Wednesday 14th May at the University of Strathclyde's Technology and Innovation Centre

Please join us for the Scottish Universities Finance Conference -  this will be a full day event with a number of plenary sessions for all and additional breakout sessions which you can choose from.  Look out for further details of the agenda in coming weeks.

The programme is being confirmed but you can look forward to sessions including:

  • Drivers of growth - universities enhanced civic role at the heart of national prosperity
  • An economic update
  • Fixed income and cash markets
  • Funding options, financial sustainability and navigating the external borrowing environment
  • The future of the student experience – a walkthrough of some of the developments on the horizon for the student experience
  • Income, student journey and debt defaults
  • Financial sustainability and ‘radical efficiencies’, and how working collaboratively can support long term financial sustainability goals
  • Fraud and money laundering  

Who can attend: We welcome any finance and procurement staff (across all levels) within any Scottish universities.

Cost: The event is free to attend and food and refreshments will be provided during the day.
