Performance Review Meetings are an important part of the Contract & Supplier Management process and provide the Procurement Team and the Supplier with an opportunity to focus on what is going well, identify any problems at an early stage and agree opportunities for improvement and innovation.
The Performance Review Meeting template can be completed by both the buyer and supplier in advance of the meeting and provides a structure to the meeting. It is suggested that for contracts/suppliers where a medium level of management is being applied that there should be at least one performance review meeting a year. Contractors/Suppliers where a high level of management is being applied there should be at least two review meetings a year.
An early Performance Review Meeting could include a 'Lessons Learnt' session with the supplier on the tendering and contract implementation process.
