Responsible procurement is a hot topic at present, with many institutions committed to working towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The impact of the covid-19 pandemic has driven sustainability in procurement further up the agenda. There are many great initiatives that the sector is leading on in terms of sustainable procurement, such as HEPAs own Responsible Procurement Group (RPG) and the EAUC’s Climate Commission.
